Terms of use

Using the studio

You can use Tiny Pixel Editor to create artwork for personal or commercial use at no cost. There is no trial period or paid feature tier. By using Tiny Pixel Editor, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Your artwork is yours

We claim no ownership of the artwork you create with Tiny Pixel Editor. We do not charge royalties or require you to credit us when you use, share or sell your artwork. Any rights or licence conditions attached to material you import still apply. You are responsible for having permission to use that material.

Your work is saved automatically in your browser. Save or export a copy of important projects. Browser storage can be cleared and should not be your only backup. Our privacy policy explains what is stored on your device and how to remove it.

The software itself

The source code, artwork, design and text of Tiny Pixel Editor are not open source and remain the property of the copyright holder. Without prior written permission you may not copy, modify, redistribute, sell, sublicense, host, or create derivative works from them, nor reverse engineer the software except to the extent that right cannot lawfully be excluded.

You may inspect the code delivered to your browser to check how the app handles your information.

No warranty

The studio is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that it will be available, error-free or suitable for any particular use, and we may change or withdraw it at any time.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the software or from your use of it, in particular for lost work. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Privacy

The privacy policy is part of these terms. It explains what is stored on your device and what happens when you submit a bug report.
